| FINALLY MY LAST STOP - WATERFORD! |
I have been home a couple of weeks & I thought I had already done the final excerpt of the Ireland tour but it seems I haven't so here goes.......What happened in Waterford?? Well....it was quite an interesting few days. I had some damn intense sessions in Waterford! What a way to end the tour!!
My first client was someone I had met up in Limerick a couple of years ago ( I have only been there twice in the last 18months so I guess he wasn't around). One new client came straight from work so he had to freshen up except when he tried to turn the shower off he couldn't because the dial was broken. He even rang up an electrician friend because apart from the on & off dial being broken it seems the power surge to get the hot water going was also faulty. I was lucky that the electrician friend advised him of what to do – a simple switch of fuses did the trick – Bingo got the hot water. The on & off dial was fixed the next morning with some glue – otherwise the whole shower would have had to be replaced. It was a real surprise to see one guy because a couple of years ago when I was in Waterford this same guy arranged to see me yet on his way he had a car accident & was unable to make it. After several texts asking if he was coming he finally text to say not to bother. I couldn't believe it. He admitted he was in Waterford & didn't have the guts or the balls (his words) to come & see me. He wanted me to give details by text of what exactly would happen in the session which I refused to do. This finalised his decision to go home & not bother to see me. I thought this was pathetic – why did he book 2 hours when it's a first time experience & he was totally apprehensive about the whole thing? Would it not have made more sense for him to do a half hour session so he could get the general gist of what happens & then extend the session if he could or come back for longer next time. Anyway I was not best pleased as I had rejected other guys as I was expecting him.
It was not a great finale to my tour - I packed up & left Waterford at 1am in the morning!! Yep -that early. I figured that it would be best to head down to Rosslare at that time instead of having a restless night trying to avoid getting up late & missing my ferry. By the time I got to Rosslare it was about 3am – crazy I know but I set myself up with my pillow & blanket in the back seat of my car. It was most uncomfortable & needless to say I got very little sleep. It didn't really matter as I was going home & all the more so when I find I had a cabin booked – I was over the moon. It was perfect as I slept for most of the ferry journey. Fishguard welcomed me with wet & miserable weather & continued to do so for the most of the day.....not the ideal journey home.
I was heading for Bath where my sister lives. I had told my family I was staying in Cardiff with friends for a few days – what a load of codswallop!? It was all lies as I was coming back from Ireland - there was absolutely no way I was going to tell the truth. My facade worked as my family never questioned me any further than what did I do with my friends – I just told them we had a dinner & house party. That was enough for them. My parents have learnt not to question too much about my life which suits me fine as it is bad enough lying without having to remember everything I said. The little said the better.
So that was the last stop of my tour......I have spent the last couple of weeks at home just chilling out & enjoying my break although I have done appointments here too. My next tour to Ireland is next Sunday so no doubt I will be writing up about that when the time comes.
